Friends of the Pittsburgh Urban Forest South Side Pittsburgh Tree Project
blue tomato® is very excited to announce the launch of the Friends of the Pittsburgh Urban Forest South Side Pittsburgh Tree Project! We are working in partnership with Friends of the Pittsburgh Urban Forest and riverset® credit union to help increase our green canopy in the South Side of Pittsburgh. Our first planting of 20-25 new beautiful trees on Wharton Street in the South Side is scheduled for October 2009.
Please take a few minutes to browse through our website! We encourage you to become involved in this great opportunity through volunteering on planting days, requesting a tree if you live in the South Side and making donations that help make this initiative possible.
